The Story of Dr. Dervant

The doctor is in, that's Dr. Dervant
He has no kin, but all he may want
He waits patiently, for the patient that be
So reluctantly, a quickly forgotten me
I'm his only client, he gives me assistance
Though I'm defiant, he's still persistent

He has hair of snow, and round glasses
He is aware of my show, still helps through classes
Dr. Dervant is professional, and never wrong
He's in all my processionals, even though there long

He keeps me sane, every long day
I think his name is Dane, but he's on his way
The doctor knows my ploy, he can tell the real
And the decoy, understanding how I feel
He's a buys man, though not too rich
Drives a VW van, with a trailer hitch

Caring and passionate, he cures my sicks
I should ration it, but i need my fix
He is selfless, and endearing
The occasional restlessness, forever peering
Doctor sees I'm sensitive, but pokes no fun
Feelings to him are relative, no need to run
For some strange reason, he wears a white uniform
Expecting no fees and, lives not unlike a dorm

Daily he watches, waiting to uncover truth
Never crutches, and never lessruth
He tells me chin up, always so positive
Never ever give up, all he has to give
And so to this man, who holds in respect
World of a man, my world he effect
